Homemade chicken noodle soup is the best! I used to eat canned soup until I realized how much easier it is to make a big homemade batch of it. Not to mention it tastes amazing. This chicken noodle soup recipe tastes like home. Something about not having any extra preservatives or unknown chemicals does the trick. . It is fantastic for a sick day or when you want to fill your body up with healthy soup. I love cooking homemade meals right at home. There truly is a sense of accomplishment, feeling of health, and acknowledgment of eating good food!

Chicken Noodle Soup

Chicken noodle soup is my favorite kind of soup, along with my vegetable soup. I always make this soup when I feel sick or when I feel that I have been eating too much unhealthy food. It always makes me feel much better. you can cook the chicken however you like, but I cook mine in a frying pan with salt and pepper, and a tad bit of olive oil so it doesn't stick. Egg noodles are the best noodles I have ever had. They are really soft and taste great! The chicken broth base I added is my all-time favorite broth. I sometimes only make a bowl of broth when I want a quick fix to a chicken soup craving. Normally I add celery but I didn't have any in the fridge. I always keep the ingredients around for this so I can make it anytime. It only takes a couple of ingredients and then some spices that you probably already have. It is as easy as throwing everything in a large pot to make this. This recipe makes a lot, so be prepared for leftovers if you aren't feeding a large family. If you like your soup more liquidy, then add fewer noodles. If you like thick soup, add more noodles; that way the noodles soak up a lot of that broth. Fresh parsley can be added too!

Everyone I make this for comes back for seconds, and leftovers. I am so in love with this soup purely because of the simplicity of it, along with the flavors it brings to the table. Say goodbye to your canned soups in the pantry, and hello to this recipe!
